Stacey Allred is an attorney licensed to practice law in North Carolina.  She has dedicated her practice to immigration law since graduating from the University of North Carolina School of Law. Over the course of her career, Ms. Allred has assisted hundreds of clients in the United States and abroad with their immigration cases. Immigration law falls under federal law, and for this reason Ms. Allred is able to advise clients in any state or country.

Immigration is a complex and ever-changing area of the law. Ms. Allred opened her own office in 2014 believing that it is imperative that individuals and families receive advice directly from their attorney throughout each step of their case. Immigration cases can take years to complete and can require multiple filings with different government agencies. It is important to have an attorney who is reliable and who will make sure you understand what to expect with each petition or application. Ms. Allred strives to be an honest and diligent advocate for her clients.

During law school Ms. Allred was a member of the North Carolina Journal of International Law and Commercial Regulation and served as an Articles Editor her third year.  She also participated in the Carolina Public Interest Law Organization, Immigration Law Association and Pro Bono Program. Throughout her third year of law school, Ms. Allred represented indigent clients in their immigration cases as a student attorney in the Immigration and Human Rights Policy Clinic at UNC and collaborated with other clinic students to create a policy manual advocating for community integration.

Ms. Allred is from Charlotte and completed her undergraduate education at the University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill with a double major in Political Science and Spanish and a minor in Social and Economic Justice.  As an undergraduate she was an active member of Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity.  She also studied abroad in Sevilla, Spain for a semester during her junior year, attending classes at the University of Sevilla.

Ms. Allred is fluent in Spanish and is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and Mecklenburg County Bar Immigration Section.
